Bush's Blueprint In his address to Congress last night, President Bush announced that he would be presenting a "Blueprint For New Beginnings," causing many Democrats to wonder aloud why he would want to spend $3 trillion on a continuation school.

Europe Fights Foot-and-Mouth; Bush Concerned Britain, Germany and France have begun full-scale slaughter of sheep and cattle to combat the agriculture-crippling foot-and-mouth disease. President Bush expressed alarm and concern for his safety until top advisors reminded him that he only suffers foot-in-mouth disease.

Earnhardt, Jr. Remembers Father Sunday, in the first NASCAR race since his father's tragic death, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. paid a loving tribute to his late father by crashing his car into the wall in the first lap.

Governors Meet with President The Governors of nearly every state, organized under the moniker National Association of Governors (NAG), met today with President Bush in Washington. One hot topic was the power crisis, or specifically, how to get more power and keep it.
President Bush also pushed his education plan, stating, “Edumacation should be our highest ... thingy.” The President’s brother, Gov. Jeb Bush, Fla., balked at the plan, arguing instead for social advancement.

Dale Earnhardt Remembered Today At his memorial service in North Carolina, an attending Earnhardt fan stated, "He won't need that eighth championship now, because he's on his way through the Golden Gates," apparently intimating that the road to the afterlife makes a stopover in San Francisco. Mr. Earnhardt was buried on Wednesday in a small ceremony. His body was laid to rest after a final lap around the cemetary grounds.
